i'm down 2 lbs. i would usually be excited about this, but it took 2 weeks. ggggrrrrrrr....
58 - 2 = 56
it's been really hard not being able to run. i hate it. my ankle feels alot better, so this week i'm going to get on the treadmill and walk every morning. my goal is to get up at 6am so i can walk and shower before my kids get up. the weather has been beautiful here too, so as long as the weather's nice i'm going to take the little girls for a walk in the botanical gardens everyday too. hopefully by next week my ankle will for good enough for me to run on it.
halloween is not a good holiday. i love dressing my kids up and taking them trick or treating, but their huge bags full of candy are not helpful. i need to muster up some serious self-control...i don't think my kids would appreciate me throwing their halloween loot away!

I love your haircut!! I love the color and everything. Good job on losing more weight. My body isn't cooperating very well either. I'm not gaining, but it's taking me forever to lose a couple of pounds.
Your kids look super cute in their costumes. Isn't halloween fun?!?
So I read this idea:
On Halloween let the kids eat whatever candy they went. THEN after they go to bed, steal their candy and replace it with a toy(s), book(s), craft stuff, etc. and a note from the "candy fairy."
THEN, throw the candy away in the dumpster so you aren't tempted to eat the rest. . . . too late this year but still thought I'd share. :)
Self Control sucks. Walking is good though! I know it seems like forever to lose the weight, but it looks like your doing great! Keep it up!
Angie-
Your hair is soooo cute! Keep up the good work on your wight loss. It will really be worth it in the long run, especially if you lose it slow.
Great job on the weight loss. It is too bad it doesn't come off as easy as it comes on. Stick to it though - you are doing great! I agree, Halloween is so hard. All this candy and we only let the kids have a couple of pieces so it is up to US to finish it off - YIKES! Self-control is so hard to control. One thing that works for me is to write down everything I eat. I will want to eat something but think it is such a pain to write down so it isn't worth eating. It is a pain to do but keeps me from eating the whole fridge!
Good for you losing 2 lbs. that's better than me. I gained 2 lbs this week. I ate a ton of candy! I need to get more motivated again.
I love that you have hair.
their are starving children in some country that starves that don't even get to have hair! You think about that next time you're thinking. Then after that you should probably think about something else...... LIKE YOUR LONG LOST COUSIN DAN! I SO TOTALLY ROCKED THIS COMMENT!
Dan - fit to go.
I'm sorry about your ankle. You are still losing weight though. That is awesome. It's not easy to do that when you can't work out. Hope your ankle heals quickly. I love your new haircut and color. It's gorgeous. Thanks for the sweet comment on our family pics. I was excited. I know how you feel... about being excited/nervous at the same time to see pics after someone takes them for you. That is exactly how I felt. I can't wait to see yours. Did you pay a photographer? That is the first time I've paid someone to take ours. So you put all that pressure on knowing that you are paying and hoping they are great.
I'm really impressed with your weight loss. Way to go! I LOVE your hair cut too.
So I did something bad to my kids....I threw away their Halloween candy! You can do it too. I know...I would have never done this- EVER, they earned it, but I was eating 1/2 of it by the handfuls. When they asked where it was, I reminded them that they ate so much already it must be gone. That was the end of the candy snacks by 9am each morning!
well 2 pounds in two weeks is just right actually. They say to lose 3-4 pounds a month to stay healthy and keep the weight off. I can't remember if I told you but I am going private so go to my blog for info if you want to read.
